ICSA receives no funding for the challenging and confronting work we do. We rely on volunteers from the community and professionals to keep our services running.
Our driving passion is simply to do what’s right by people, to assist the community and is fuelled by our strong desire for social justice.
We can no longer call ourselves ‘volunteers’ as our people are essentially unpaid workers who share our common concerns and vision.
There are a number of ways you can get involved with our work or contribute to outcomes. We would benefit from any involvement with our organisation.
Community Education & Awareness
Through our work we come across information that is useful to us all. Policy changes, benefits, entitlements, workplace law etc. Where it is of general interest we share this information.
Knowledge Bank
Gaining information and building knowledge is key to being properly informed.
We select topics and issues which are contemporary and need to be explored in all dimensions. As such we run:

- Presentations: information or introduction to topics that can be complex or new.
- Webinars: panel discussions by experts across a range of topics that intersect in the CALD community.
- Seminars: looking deeper into core topics, summary of projects and research that we are involved in.
- Library: we have a range of materials developed into downloadable resources on key community needs as well as affect those working with CALD communities.
We have a catalogue of past sessions and resources available to access.
